Original artwork description:
A semi-abstract oil painting on premium quality duck cotton canvas.
Based on my experience of a cool, dull day in December 2016, when I walked by the side of a fairly murky, apparently unused canal in Birmingham. A flash of moving 'light' caught my eye. A kingfisher was the last thing I expected to see and it shimmered against the background of browns and dark greens.
It was an exhilarating moment which inspired me to paint 'Flight of Fancy.'
