Flight of a kite. Sea Symphony. Set from the series My Sardines. ORIGINAL illustrations.
I have taken part in Sardines Contest organized by EGEAC (Portugal). And I was inspired by the idea of the Contest to fit an image into a sardine silhouette and created a series of sardines. Some sardines in the series I have submitted for the Contest over the years.
Here are two original artworks from the series My Sardines. The size of each of them is 42x20 cm (16,5x8 in).
Flight of a Kite (2021)
For me, a kite in the sky is associated with childhood, and no matter how old you are it gives you a feeling of flight and freedom and encourages you to open new horizons.
Sea Symphony (2023)
Each sardine is a piece of sea. A drop of the sea lives in each sardine. Each sardine is a poem of the sea, еach sardine is an endless symphony of the sea…
