An expressive piece from the "Flight- Icarus" series, based on my visit to a hawk sanctuary, which was pretty amazing!

There are a lot of gestural marks and monchrome tones to capture the essence of movement of the hawk, as it hovers or glides?

Mixed media on gesso primed paper, and varnished with a mat acrylic varnish.
