Original artwork description:

While on holiday in Shropshire I was struck by the beautiful hills unfolding before me, some of the landscape enhanced by a wonderful blue flax planted there that year. The blue has a mauve tinge to it which I made by mixing violet ultramarine with ultramarine and titanium white. This is my most recent oil painting of this subject, I've also created "Flaxfields" in watercolour and ink tense pencils.
This artwork is ready to hang with Drings and cord. It is painted with artists quality oil paint on canvas.
