First in a series I am painting of flappers. Ah, the flappers—a lively, trailblazing symbol of the Roaring Twenties! These were young women who broke societal norms with their bold fashion choices, bobbed haircuts, and free-spirited attitudes. They danced to jazz, rejected traditional gender roles, and embraced newfound freedoms, making them icons of the Jazz Age. Flappers were known for their rebellious energy, challenging expectations through their independence and modernity.
