Original artwork description:
Flaming June is a well known painting by Sir Frederic Leighton, produced in 1895. I have always loved the close crop of the figure sleeping on a balcony amid all that orange fabric.... This is my own, more saturated version of the work, that I created in oils, building it up with several layers of glazes.
Due to the size of this painting I will remove it from its stretcher bars and send it in a roll with the bars. The client will need to get it restretched.
