The strength and passion of flamenco are difficult to describe, the beauty of the dresses, the movement, the expression of the body of Andalusian women is something that always pushes me to make my next painting and try once again to paint all that passion into a simple image that can be hung on the wall to remember my beloved Spain and its people every day.
I hope this work can share some of my love for Andalucia and its traditions.

Susana Zarate BA (Hons), works with a range of mediums and subjects from figurative, nudes, and animal portraits using oil and watercolours to abstract and semi-abstract landscapes using acrylics and mixed media.
