A foggy early morning, you drive a car and approach a road junction… Seems like nothing special, but every driver knows the feeling of being fully alert while sitting behind the wheel, when everything and everyone around seems to be still half asleep. It usually gives me this special feeling of comfort, which is unique for such moments and can be hardly achieved in other ways.

In this oversized oil roadscape the artist attempted to catch such mood of alertness in sleepy surroundings. The impression is supported by use of calm shades of grey colour with minor exceptions that call for our attention.

This painting will be shipped carefully and safely rolled in a durable tube because of its large size. Rolled artworks can easily be re-stretched.
