Original artwork description:

An acrylic plein air painting sketch Fistral Beach. The scene appeared to me classic, iconic and an exercise in differening tecture. The vista across the beach was spectacular. I was totally taken by the iconic Headland Hotel, a stunning edwardian building, like a ship, heading to sea. The tide was out, allowing a huge panorama. Only the figures givean idea to the sheer scale. With the dark mauve from the sanddunes shadow, the breaking white of the waves this is a beautiful landscape for you to enjoy. Painted in acrylic on waterford paper.
