I have a passion for things relating to bays, oceans, and fishing. This painting called FISHING PIER is based on one in Chincotegue, Virginia. It's small and quiet, rustic and calm.
The scent of salt air, gentle lapping of the water, and light chatter of people. This painting is a rugged interpretation of that pier. With pink, blue, and shades of grey, the memory of my hours spent there linger.
