Collagraph print

A handmade collagraph print with Chine Colle fish.

The printing plate for this image was made from recycling used plastic netting, toothpaste tubing and blister packets. Just every day items that most people have in their homes that normally get thrown into general waste.




Printed on 250gsm cartridge paper .

A Collagraph print is one made from a plate with different textures. The printing plate is made from mount board. The process is a combination of intaglio and relief.

The beauty of this process is the way all the colours merge together when printed and no image will ever be the same.
