Artwork description:

Limited edition photographic print of a dilapidated fishing net hut at Dungeness, Kent, UK. An atmospheric piece that would make a great focal point in any room and the ideal gift for those who love the great outdoors and all things nautical.

I took this shot on a blustery spring morning on the shingle spit of Dungeness, one of the largest expanses of shingle in Europe, it constantly shifts with the tides. Dungeness is a protected area being designated a national nature reserve (NNR), a Special Protection Area (SPA), a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and part of the Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) of Dungeness, Romney Marsh and Rye Bay. Not least for containing a remarkable variety of wildlife. Some dismiss the location as a bleak windswept place only good for siting a power plant, while others admire the its beauty and timeless atmosphere - I'm definitely in the latter camp, being a hopeless romantic!

This is a run of limited edition prints measuring 29.7 x 42 cm and numbering 150 is printed using archival quality inks on photographic acid-free lustre paper. The print is numbered, titled and signed on the reverse and care notes are included to help you make the most of your purchase. See additional photos for examples.
