Hvar is a beautiful small town on picturesque Hvar island. I was very impressed by this place. I did many sketches and drawings during my Croatian trip. This original watercolor painting was made a long time after my visit to Croatia, but with my sketches and memories.
Especially I admire the beautiful effect of glowing azure water under fishing boats. I tried to reproduce it in this nautical painting. If you have watched the glowing in real life, you’d recognize this magical thing.
