Original artwork description:
I've layered blues on blues for this original harbour scene to give a depth of colour as well as some texture. I've used acrylic paint on board, then given it a coat of varnish to protect the colours. Techniques used include impasto and sgraffito. And I've stolen the title from the Waterboys' song - which I was listening to while painting it.
Unframed it measures 44.5cm x 21cm
Framed it measures 51.5cm x 27.5cm.
The frame is one I've painted white then waxed it for a smooth, protective finish.
It's strung on the back and ready to hang.
I've signed the back and it will be sent with a signed certificate of authenticity but please contact me if you'd like it signed on the front.
