Original artwork description:

2.5 x 3.5 inches

Indian Ink and Artists Watercolour Paint on Watercolour paper mounted on 3mm board

An Attractive interpretation of a display of fish at a fishmongers.

The easel and thimble are not included in the sale and are shown to give scale to the picture. I hope this helps.

ACEO stands for Art Card Editions and Originals and are more commonly referred to as Artist Trading Cards. These small works of art have one main rule - they are 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches - the size of a trading card. They can be made of any substrate or any medium. ACEO's, originally traded, are now also sold to buyers and collectors world wide.

I find ACEO's fun to paint and I often try out different mediums. More often than not my ACEO's are painted using 3mm board as a support. I like this because it makes them feel more chunky and easy to handle. I mount watercolour paper, canvas or just paint straight on to the board.
