Original artwork description:

Fish can talk, and the bubbles that they spit
Are like a secret language, I admit
Living beside us, so close yet so far
Their lives so mysterious, their environment ajar

I yearn for such a living environment
To be able to communicate with them I'd be content
Their movements so fluid and graceful, I'd watch for hours
Their freedom and mystery, a life I'd have the power

The wonders of the deep, awake and alive
The secrets of the sea, so much to derive
The conversations they have, so out of reach
But to watch them, such a pleasure, could I beseech

If I could speak the language of bubbles they write
What marvelous stories they'd tell me in the night
The secrets of the sea, so far away
But to wish for such communication, I can still pray.
