An organic abstract painting of the first fall of snow.

This highly textured painting shows the time when Autumn has barely left the scene and there is a cold snap!

The remaining leaves of the fall shiver under the first blanket of snow, which indicates a harsh winter ahead.

I have used impasto techniques here, scratching, splashing and my pallet knife skills to build up an interesting canvas of winter art.

The edges of the deep canvas are white and my signature is on the side in black.

The block canvas has been varnished in a glossy art varnish and it can be hung as it is (no string at the back, it only needs a nail) It will then sit flat against the wall for an ultra modern look.
