Detailed oil painting of Portscatho, a pretty coastal village on Roseland Penisula in Cornwall. I always love that moment when you are on a coastal path walk and you round a bend and get your first glimpse of a beautiful bay opening up in all its glorious beauty and colour.
There was a lot to paint in this scene and lots of painterly brushstrokes and textures to capture this beautiful part of Cornwall.
