Original oil on canvas landscape painting stretched on a wooden frame.
During my travels along the North Atlantic Seaboard from Connecticut to Ontario, Canada, I was inspired to create an impressionistic etude. Rocks and pine trees over the ocean. Cloudy day in blue and grey colors. A plain air atmospheric study was finished in the studio. Impressionism.
The master-quality material has been used. Heavy impasto is built with brushes and pallet knives. Edges of the painting are covered with archival white linen tape for a clean contemporary look. No need for framing. It is ready to hang. Signed on the back.
