Original artwork description:

My brother Mike starts our campfire in the White Mountains of New Hampshire while on a motorcycle road trip. Even when the weather is too warm for a fire we'll start one and sit back a bit further from the heat and enjoy the peacefulness and relaxation that comes from the flickering flames.
This painting, like much of my work is made with gouache which is simply a more opaque watercolour, rather than the traditional more transparent watercolour.
