Original artwork description:
Painted with acrylic and acrylic medium, including modeling paste and copper paint, this multilayered painting, dominated by blues, reds, rose and purple, was made through mark making of various techniques, and then sanding down through the layers with a rotary sander, and doing so through 8 to 10 iterations (sometimes retaining only a small portion), until a dynamic and pleasing whole was achieved.
