Original artwork description:
I've used 3 or 4 different reds with the other colours as well as some medium to build up the centre of this poppy. Lots of texture so I decided to remove the glass from this frame. The canvas is fixed to a backing, painted red, and the frame is a deep box one (4.5cm).
