This artwork is an original, one-off work by the artist.

This work explores the feelings and emotions associated with the devastation of fire, with many fires destroying beautiful buildings and house, more recently such as the Notre Dame, take away some of the most important physical things in life. In spite of the destruction of fire, there is beauty in it, a changing form that always grows like a creature. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism with impasto layers.

I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together.

This work is UNFRAMED and was painted on Hahnemühle Etching Paper 300gsm Warm White, with dimensions 70 × 100 × 0.25 cm (unframed). The frame is NOT included and is just for illustrative purposes.

This work was created on the 18th of April 2019

In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.

A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.
