I am interested in man as a being subject to his fears. Which is (de)formed and then further (de)forming its environment, relationships.
The form I use it is playful, dark, a bit grotesque. For me, it unites the joy and carefree dance in the clouds and the reminder of the deep abyss into which it falls.
THE SHAPES are a paradox, an effort for self-reflection, cognition, misunderstanding.
I look into myself, I check my attitudes and thoughts. I believe that understanding and accepting my own motivations will allow me to better understand a more complex issue.
I wonder where the boundaries are: the boundaries of tolerance, empathy, rejection. Or what still humor is when you get to alive. One form of defense against fear and pain is their ridicule.
THE SHAPES are our worse faces that are not taken so seriously. They laugh at themselves, they laugh at others, and the ability to see makes them slightly better versions of themselves.
Painting sad people in a diverse environment is a search for personal balance and acceptance in society. Is it possible to reject utopian ideas and at the same time find support for fragile hope?
I resist the so-called certainties, the violent division into good and bad.
Here the face represents the inner mirror, while not reflecting reality, but creating an illusion, distorting the image, which is the result of angles of view, flattering or unflattering light.
When judging others, we are subject to deception and so we unknowingly project our own mistakes into them.
