Original artwork description:
This is a variation on a painting that I did several years ago. In this case I had the old copies of the Financial Times newspaper pre-printed on 5 mil architectural drafting mylar. I then painted the young african american lady and other items with acrylic. If I understand correctly, the newspaper no longer prints hardcopy, just online.
FINANCIAL TIMES AA is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art. It is produced using acrylic paint and India ink. The newspaper background has been digitally reproduced and laminated to the back of the translucent mylar and then the portrait and other items were painted over the background.
This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on tempered masonite with a 2 inch border all around. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
I only sell original work so there will only be one original. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
