Original artwork description:

Welsh period. An early figurescape in which I was trying out various ideas (you'll see this mentioned with some other works too).

As remarked in the description of the earlier associated 'Abandoned(,) ...', it was at the end of a contorted effort that I felt I'd reached something 'Real' in a symphony of heavily impastoed yellows.

It is quite heavy with a small integral frame.

Materials used:

Spectrum oil paint, linseed medium, knives, heavy recycled wooden support
