Original artwork description:

This is a painting of figures brought together to form a conversation between layered human forms. The figures have been drawn on top of one another, intermingling and becoming something 'other' through its abstraction, like a Totem.

These series' explore the intermingling of figures, creating colourful paintings of interactions between figures, forming new forms of drawing and painting that explore the use of colour and colour theory.

The work is inspired by my previous experimental figure work and cubist principles of moving around the figure or capturing the moving figure via layering. These paintings can also be seen as psychological pieces.

This is a large image and would look great in the right long frame, preferably white. The painting has been created on wallpaper underlay using tempera and acrylic paints, creating interesting results in the final image.
