Original artwork description:

This print explores layering various colours on top of one another to explore the interaction between one colour and another. The image is inspired by my walks in the landscape, surrounded by the various colours of the landscape; the flowers, grasses, trees, streams, rivers, willdlife, sky.
Each colour is placed to form a conversation between each other, exploring the interactions colours have with one another and the accidental with the intervention of the chosen colour.
It layer adds to the next, resonating with the layering of time and the earth itself. Through chance and direction the form develops new forms, as each layer becomes something more, something deeper - something of a dream realised through the Romanticist ideals set by Samuel Coleridge, creating a poem of colour and form - poetics in motion.
