We got out of the car and were surrounded by poppies in a vast meadow that seemed to stretch to the horizon. It was something quite magnificent, and so I have painted a series of paintings based on this amazing sight.
Painted on a stretched canvas with painted sides so it is READY TO HANG.
For shipping I package my paintings between two sheets of board, protect the corners and wrap in bubble wrap, then enclose in a waterproof polypropylene mailer.
Materials used:
Winsor and Newton oil paints on stretched canvas.
