Naming abstracts isn't easy, you don't want to plant ideas about what they may represent, when in fact they weren't meant to represent anything! Still, this looks a bit like some of the Festival paintings I have done and which have sold well, so Festival 7 it is.

The Festival series celebrates the excitement of live music at a festival. Festival 7 concentrates on colours and lines, rather than trying to depict a crowd. It is a dynamic and colourful piece that will brighten any room.

It is painted with acrylic paint on canvas, which is stretched over an internal wooden frame. It is ready to hang.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint applied with brushes, palette knives, splattering and dripping.
