Exploring the area with fresh eyes. I returned to the UK in 2012 after an absence of 20 years, and found it much more beautiful than I remembered.
Wooden fence built by my step father in one of his fields, that was adjacent to Stocks Road on the Isle of Oxney in Kent. He died two years before this photo was taken and the fence was already falling into disrepair and was no barrier for sheep. Six months later my mother had the fence replaced with something more practical but less attractive. This was from a small exhibition of landscape prints I had in Munday Bois called 'Straight out of Oxney'.
Epson fine art inks and Hahnemühle Photorag 308gsm fine art paper.
