Original artwork description:

Van Gogh's chair seems to have made an appearance at this session. The model leaning an arm across the top with a black fan held open in it. One leg tucked up and behind. the other leg to the floor. A wall behind and some shadows gives extra depth and a smokiness to the image. Before or after a performance perhaps.

Black conte/charcoal on cream paper 30 x 42 cm (c. 12 x 16 "). It will either be rolled for delivery (glassine inside to protect the drawing) or wrapped in glassine and sandwiched in cardboard depending on where it is being sent to.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.

On the verso there is another monochrome pastel in umber, a warm-up sketch of a different model lying with head propped on his crooked arm. This is shown in the photographs in this gallery so you don't have a surprise on receipt of the piece.
