This piece is a lovely gestural figure painting with water colour highlights, to perfectly capture the female form.

The human figure is my primary inspiration in drawing and painting, to explore the possibilities of line, shape, colour and form.

From originally attending life drawing classes as an aid to my studies in art, the human figure has since become my abiding passion to explore my creativity in a multitude of media - drawing, painting, collage and even embroidery.
