Artwork description:

For this print I collaged 3 different printing plates to make a new composition. It is printed on 370 gsm watercolour paper. A Collagraph print is one made from a plate with different textures. My printing plate is made from mounting board. The process is a combination of intaglio and relief. I Collaged my plate with different textures in this instance I cut my figure out of the plate and added aluminium tape then added tile adhesive and impressed various found objects into it whilst still wet, then it was left to harden before making my print. The plate is then coloured with stay open ink and then put through the press. I will pack this print flat between layers of cardboard (see me at work pic) This print is sold unframed.
