I found Eva, a very talented young Russian dancer, a few months ago and couldn't wait to paint her. There is a calm and a stillness in her poses, a sense that the movement is completely natural and complete. This is one of a series of painting based on young ballerinas, painted in oils on canvas board.

They are framed in solid wood custom made frames by Frames Express, painted in dark blue/grey , 55 ml thick with mount and acrylic glass.
