Painted with a view to capturing the constantly evolving shapes and patterns created by the subtle movement and transparency of the water combined with the reflections of the light in an abstract way.

I've painted water in one form or another for as long as I can remember and paintings just of water on this size scale for many years and I'm pleased to say that I continue to get a buzz out of it, in fact a joy to paint. So I hope that you'll get that same feeling.

This artwork is a large striking centerpiece painting on professionally stretched canvas. The edges are painted so it is supplied ready to hang.
