Impressionistic landscape.

An abstracted, impressionist landscape painting. Spring has arrived here in Kent where I live and work.

I am loving the spring weather here in Kent, south east England, where I live and work. This painting is inspired by the sunshine, warmth and explosion of green grass, new flowers and warm air.

I use top quality Golden acrylics, and spend time layering the canvas with many shades of paint, flicking, using a palette knife, brushes rags and allowing paint to drip down the canvas in order to create a rich textured paint surface.

This 40x100cm canvas is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
