This is an original watercolor, painted on Hahnemühle 450 gsm watercolor paper, a heavy, 100% acid-free paper. I'm using professional quality watercolor paints by Schmincke, Winsor & Newton, and Daniel Smith. The iridescent blue spots on feathers come from one of my favorite Daniel Smith' luminescent watercolors called "Iridescent Electric Blue".
