Original artwork description:

This is a layered monoprint drawing of a farmworker girl (slave) from the American Archive created during the process of producing the monotype print. The image is comprised of layering yellow, red and blue linework of the drawing, whilst it was transferred/ lifted off the ink from the acrylic printing plates.

The monoprint has been glued to recycled greyboard for support. Part of my #lostgeneration series.

Oil based printing ink on paper, greyboard.
