Original artwork description:

'Far Far Away' is an original triptych painting on black plexiglass created using a mix of techniques with layers of acrylic paint to create texture and depth.

This set of three conceptual abstract paintings is inspired by Stigmaria tree root fossils. And they have a very 'outer space in another galaxy' feel about them. The striking colour palette includes metallic and iridescent paints, copper, gold and bronze.

Plexiglass is an unusual and a challenging surface to paint on - two of the reasons I choose to work with it! :-) I also love the reflective qualities of the surface and the 3d-like aspect it gives to my work.

This very contemporary abstract art is painted on high quality black plexiglass.

The plexiglass is fixed to the wall through at least two of the four chrome standoffs provided. Simply add the correct screws for your type of wall. It's straightforward and I provide hanging guidelines.

The paintings sit approximately 9mm off the wall due to the standoffs, giving an almost 3D effect. The plexiglass itself is approximately 6mm thick.
The paintings are varnished.
The work is signed on the front and the back.
A Certificate of Authenticity is provided.
