Original artwork description:

This piece has been through so many stages and been on and off my easel for such a long time ... it seems most strange to declare it finished. But, I can do no more and it now needs to find a new and loving home/wall ...

The title 'Far East of Slough' merges a memory of a trip to Bali (Reclining Buddha) many years ago and the fact that the young woman I worked with on this painting grew up in Slough.
