Country foxes are a splendid animal, the phenixes in the fields. I've long loved painting them and this work is a result of years of study and experimentation. I teamed up with a fantastic wildlife photographer Ken Ostrom, who kindly allowed me to work from his photos.
NEW FRAME! please note I can still get the old frame should you prefer it but I do think this one is lovely. Artwork comes framed in 70MM lacquered ebony with faint oxide lines and grain frame, ready to hang without glass. Oil paintings stay healthiest with air flow over the canvas surface, it also allows you to see the texture of the paint without reflection. All frames are custom made by Picture Frames Express and assembled by me once bought so if you'd prefer unframed please just drop me a note.
