I have always loved all cars, the instant rush of memory, back to childhood wonder, of toys and little models in matchboxes that made up my make believe world. Old French films in black and white, retro, nostalgic. I saw this old car parked in a local French town, and I was drawn to its blue-grey tones. A lovely gift and a lovely souvenir of France.
Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
