Two young elephants bond within the safety of their family herd. Inspired by watching elephant families during trips to Africa I created this composition in order to capture the strong lifelong bonds that these magnificent creatures form. Within my wildlife drawings I always include the detail of a small insect or two, I like to make the viewer search!
