While looking through some old photographs at the house of my grandparents, I came across an old family portrait. There was actually many of them from different times. We have a tradition of large family gatherings at least once a year. The mood of old family photographs inspired me to make this nostalgic family portrait that takes us back in time… Now, in May of 2022, when I look at this painting, I realise that things will never be the same for thousands of families in Ukraine after the war…

The artwork will be shipped carefully and safely rolled in a durable plastic tube because of its large size. Rolled artworks can easily be re-stretched.
