Inspired by the familiars - were believed to be supernatural entities that would assist witches and cunning folk in their practice of magic. In my painting, the witch’s soul moved into her familiar - the bird. Now the bird is a witch. She is sitting on the skeleton hand of her former body. She cannot live without her ruby ring and now wears it oh her neck. To see in the dark, she holds candles on her head.
Sides painted, doesn't need a frame.
Comes in a box ready to hang.
