Original artwork description:

'Fallow in the bracken' was inspired by the rich Autumn colours on a wooded hill side in the New Forest. The dead golden bracken fills the scene. The clear blue sky and the light coming though the trees contrast with the dark understory of birch trees. The Fallow deer look surprised as they stand half hidden beneath the trees.
The picture has a plain off white, deep frame.
