A handmade black and white linocut, rinted in rich black waterbased ink. Printed on heavyweight Fabriano Rosaspina archival paper that does not age with time. Part of an edition of 25.
This image depicts a Fallow Deer, often seen in the English countryside, surrounded by stylised native bluebells.
Inspired by wildlife found in the British countryside, and part of a series of wildlife linoprints. The image derives from an original drawing in my sketchbook.
As with all hand printed artwork, there may be slight variations in tone to the one shown-all part of the beauty of an original print!
