Original artwork description:

" The Fallen Idol # 2 "
This work is a continuation on the theme of power and self admiration.
It depicts the idol heading for the sunny uplands of life, then changing it's position to falling from grace, into despair and darkness (see images).
I created this sculpture from a strong Herculite plaster, which I then covered in a mosaic of ostrich egg shell (collected myself ), then adding layers of colour, applied in small dots to give it a semi precious worn state of existence.
This is my second creation on the same theme in the body part series.
