Original artwork description:
Fall Fields is one of the earlier cold wax and oil paintings on paper I created. I love this combination of cold wax and oil as I am able to achieve such lovely textures by using found objects, palette knives and silicone scrapers. Sections of burlap is one of my favourite ways to make impressions.
This paper painting is intended to be framed under a mat for an 8" x 10" image.
